Introduction

Here's an introduction of what this blog is about and some production.

Design by nature

After watching a series on youtube starring Pharrell. Where he was interviewing different artist from different fields such as architecture, product/interior design, music/audio, and traditional painter/sculptor. The show is called artist talk on the reserve channel. On this one episode Pharrell interviewed  Karim Rashid famous interior and product designer & Kenny Scharf pop artist. Well more about Karim and his unique odd free form shaped colored designs. Karim has designed two hotels one in Germany called nHow and the other in Greece called Semiramis. He designed the lobbies, restaurants, pools, rooms, even full professional recording studio in the nHow. The nHow is the most lavish design with big free form shape pink blob for its front desk. The lobby is full of the same of free form furniture. He says he wants his furniture and designs to be experiences for everybody. The type of designs he makes are high priced and usually not seen by the public this way people can enjoy the designs. About Kenny he was roomates and friends with the late graffiti artist Keith Haring. Keith Haring graffiti became iconic especially with hip hop during the nineties. That same graffiti style has inspired many even to new artist these from Chicago’s own Hebru Brantly. As he uses that Haring style in some of his paintings. All of this goes back to the essence of art people expressing themselves and just using the tools available. So art can be whatever it wants to be it’s mostly by what the viewer sees.

This is James Blake performing at the pitchfork festival in Paris this past November. He is an UK electronic producer, but not like a Teisto fist pumping type of electronic music. Blake is little more chill ambient/soul music. With a couple of his last projects he has turned more into the singer/songwriter but producing all of the music himself. Last with 2013 being his biggest breakthrough year coming out with the awarded album Overgrown & getting a big co-sign from Kanye West being his favorite artist to listen to. He's is now working on new material, but check out he video above to hear him perform his best songs.

He is definitely what you would call a sophisticated creative. Leave a comment let us know your thoughts on James Blake http://youtu.be/o2BVk5tWciI

Sophisticated Creative

This blog will discuss topics in that unique perspective of creatives.  All things of interest technology, design, art, music, philosophy, culture(pop), and etc. Sophisticated creative, is a term that I use,to describe someone who is sees the world around them quite different. In the creative sense that things are not always what they seem to be, its all about perspective. In the creative sense a design, product, song, painting, clothing, that might seem impractical will make perfect sense to a creative. There's also a certain style of sophistication to the creativity. The thing about creatives there can be beauty seen in a lot things that some might look over.  There are all kinds of creatives not just artsy types there are creatives in every type of field in entertainment and out.

There's a quote out there that I believe to be true "Beware of artist they mix with all classes of society and are therefore the most dangerous." Think about it there is some truth to that its an creative/artist job to connect/relate to all humans. Which is why some of the best music is made by creatives/artist. Even though with music it's not always about the art, there is a science side too in creating it.

When art/creativity uses science as its tool the outcome can be amazing and innovative. That is something that is needed in today's world.  As technology being the thing that is pushing the human species forward art can connect that technology to all of us.
